Arrabawn Fresh Milk Announced as
Official Sponsor of Galway GAA Academy
Arrabawn Fresh Milk, a brand of Aurivo Co-operative, has been announced as the official sponsor of the Galway GAA Academy, marking the beginning of a two-year partnership aimed at nurturing the future talent of Gaelic football and hurling in the region.
This significant partnership reflects Aurivo’s deep-rooted commitment to supporting local communities across the region in which they operate. The launch event took place today at Pearse Stadium, where representatives from Aurivo and Galway GAA gathered to celebrate the collaboration.
Commenting on the partnership, Niamh Jinks, Brand and Communications Manager at Aurivo, said “At Aurivo, playing an active role in the community as well as supporting sporting activities is an important part of our culture. Through this partnership with the Galway GAA Academy, we are delighted to be playing a role in empowering young athletes, promoting healthy lifestyles and strengthening community bonds though the spirt of Gaelic football. Through our Arrabawn Fresh Milk brand, we are proud to back tomorrow’s legends.”
Gabriel Lardner, Head of Arrabawn Sales at Aurivo, added “This collaboration with the Galway GAA Academy is a significant step for our brand as we continue to grow and strengthen our presence in the community. Arrabawn fresh milk is a staple in households across the region, known for its delicious and nutritious dairy produce. The brand, which became part of the Aurivo family in 2023, offers a range of fresh milk and butter products, widely available in local shops and supermarkets.
Paul Bellew, County Chairperson of Galway GAA, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership saying, “We are delighted to have Arrabawn Fresh Milk on board as main sponsors of the Academy. This partnership will enhance our Academy programmes, providing valuable resources to continue nurture the talents of our young hurling and football players from the length and breadth of county Galway.”
Dennis Carr, Galway GAA Coaching & Games Manager, noted the positive impact of the partnership, saying “Our mission is to nurture and develop the talents of our young players, and this support from Arrabawn Fresh Milk will help us continue to provide the highest level of coaching, mentorship, and support.”
The Galway GAA Academy, catering to over 400 players across football and hurling, plays a crucial role in the development of underage athletes from U14 to U16. With a focus on coaching expertise, strength and conditioning, and competitive match experiences, the Academy prepares players to represent Galway with pride at county, provincial, and national stages.
